Upper Providence Little League (UPLL) provides All-Star / Travel Baseball and Softball opportunities to selected players at the conclusion of the recreational spring Little League season. Participation on these teams is voluntary. There are teams available in both Baseball and Softball.
The following criteria is used to select rosters for these teams:
- Prior performance on UPLL All-Star / Travel teams
- Player performance during recreational evaluations
- Player performance during the recreational season
- Player performance during individual age group tryouts
- Coaching interviews
Please note that there is a substantial commitment that comes with being on an All-Star / Travel team. Each player must commit to being available every/any day between Memorial Day and the end of July. This does not mean that teams will practice or play every day during this period. However, it does mean that there may be a team event scheduled on every day.
Once try outs are completed, the managers of each team will work together to create their rosters and submit them to the UPLL Board of Directors for approval. Once rosters are finalized, parents of the players that have been selected will be notified by e-mail.
