Dear Parents, Players, Coaches, and Volunteers-
As I informed you yesterday in our announcement regarding coronavirus / COVID-19, the Upper Providence Little League Board of Directors has been monitoring the ongoing situation very closely. In discussing the need to cancel or postpone planned activities at UPLL, the Board set two possible conditions under which we would proceed with cancellations:
- UPLL received direction from Little League International, Little League Pennsylvania District 27, federal, state, or local authorities
- The Spring-Ford School District closed schools and facilities
With Dr. David Goodin's announcement today regarding closure of the Spring-Ford School District and with Little League's further recommendations provided this evening, the Upper Providence Little League Board of Directors has voted to suspend all planned league activities until April 6th. This includes all planned meetings and practices up to that date.
As the situation continues to evolve, additional cancellations and postponements may be required. We will keep you informed via e-mail, our website, and Facebook page.
As always, the safety of our players and families is and continues to be our number one priority.
