Upper Providence Little League will be holding Player Evaluations on Sunday, March 1st at the Floy Lewes Bakes Center on the campus of Ursinus College in Collegeville. You'll find everything you need to know about Player Evaluations below!
Who needs to attend?
Players currently registered in the Baseball Midgets, Baseball Minors, and Baseball Intermediate (50/70) Divisions are required to attend Evaluations. Please ensure your child is registered for the upcoming 2019 recreational season before evaluations! Visit up-littleleague.org to get registered if you have not done so. Registration will close on Saturday, February 29th at midnight.
Players must complete a waiver to participate in Evaluations. Please click here (Waiver Form) to download, print, and complete the waiver prior to Evaluations. Completing your child's waiver will greatly increase our speed of checking in, so please, complete the waiver prior and bring a copy with you! If you cannot complete the waiver beforehand or forget your copy, we will have copies available for you.
What are the times for each division?
- Baseball Midgets Division: 5:00pm
- Baseball Minors Division: 5:30pm
- Baseball Intermediate (50/70) Division: 6:00pm
Players should arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to their scheduled timeslot in order to allow time for check-in.
Where are the Evaluations held and how do I get there?
Evaluations will be held at the Floy Lewes Bakes Fieldhouse (click for Google Maps directions) on the campus of Ursinus College in Collegeville.
Heading east on Ridge Pike (Main Street):
- Turn left at the traffic light at 9th Avenue.
- Make a right into the parking lot for Ursinus College.
- Head to the far left side of the parking lot to find the Floy Lewes Bakes Center.
Heading west on Ridge Pike (Main Street):
- Turn right at the traffic light on 9th Avenue.
- Make a right into the parking lot for Ursinus College.
- Head to the far left right of the parking lot to find the Floy Lewes Bakes Center.
What equipment does my child need?
Players should bring a baseball glove, batting helmet, and bat. If you do not have a batting helmet, we will have a few on hand. All players should wear sneakers; no spikes/cleats are allowed in the facility!
