• We'll be holding the First Annual UPLL Beef and Beer on Saturday, March 7th at Black Rock Firehouse! This is a great way for the parents, volunteers, coaches, and managers of our league to get together for some fun and camaraderie before the start of our 2020 season. We'll be serving food from Mission BBQ and, of course, we'll have plenty of beer! Tickets will be $30 and can be purchased via Venmo from UPLL President Nick Buchanan via his username @Sledhead31.  Contact Nick with any questions about the event and we look forward to seeing everyone on March 7th!
• Registration continues to be open on the UPLL Website through February 29th. If you plan for child to play this season, take a moment and head to the website to get registered! Time is quickly running out!
• Player Evaluations will be on Sunday, March 1st. Evaluations are mandatory for the Baseball Midgets, Baseball Minors, and Baseball Intermediate (50/70) programs. More info to come on Evaluations as we get closer.
• If you are interested in volunteering as a Division Commissioner for the upcoming season, please let us know by replying to this e-mail. Division Commissioners work with the UPLL Board to coordinate the selection of Team Managers / Assistant Coaches, arrange the division's game and practice schedule, and manage the division's activities throughout the year. We have several volunteers across the league for these positions and this is a final call if you'd like to take on this role for 2020!
• We will be holding Spring Field Cleanup on Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 15th to prepare the complex for the upcoming season. We had a great turnout in the Fall and just a few hours of your time on these days will be a great help! More details to come.
• Other important dates and clinics running around the area:
  • Diamond Dreams will be running a President's Day Hitting Camp on Monday, February 17th from 9am-12pm. The cost of the camp is $45 and you can register by contacting Diamond Dreams via e-mail or through their Facebook page.
  • Collegeville Sports Academy is offering Softball Winter Workouts for girls ages 7 and 8. This clinic is a great way for girls to work on softball specific pitching instruction and build a solid foundation for the upcoming season. For more information, see the program's flyer or contact Tom Simmers. 
  • Limerick Township Parks and Recreation will be hosting an All-Sports Gear Swap on Saturday, March 28th from 9am-12pm. This is a great way to find lightly used equipment or outfit a player for a new sport without investing in all new equipment. This event is open to all area residents.
