Upper Providence Little League provides travel baseball and softball opportunities to selected players at the conclusion of the recreational Little League season. Participation on these teams is voluntary.
There are teams available at most age groups in both baseball and softball.
To be able to try out for any of these teams, players are nominated by their Team Managers and the following criteria is used to select rosters for these teams:
Prior performance on UPLL All Star Teams,
Player performance during the rec season,
Player performance at individual age group try outs,
Please note that there is a substantial commitment that comes with being on a travel baseball team. Each player must commit to being available every/any day between Memorial Day and the end of July. That does not mean that teams will practice or play every day in the summer, however, it does mean that it is possible that there will be a baseball event scheduled on every day.
Once the try outs are completed, the managers of each team will work together to create their rosters and submit them to the Executive Board of Upper Providence for approval. Once rosters are finalized, parents of players that have been selected will be notified by email.
