Volunteer Background Checks | Upper Providence Little League


Prior to volunteering with Upper Providence Little League, all volunteers are required - both by Little League International and the State of Pennsylvania - to complete criminal and sex offender background checks. A volunteer at UPLL for any position must remit the following:

  1. A copy of a government-issued photo identification
  2. A copy of your Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance (free to volunteers)
  3. A copy of your Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check (free to volunteers)
  4. FBI Disclosure Form (if you have been a resident of Pennsylvania for the last 10 consecutive years); OR, Results of FBI Fingerprinting (Service Code 1KG6ZG) (if you have not been a resident of Pennsylvania for the last 10 consecutive years)

If a volunteer has completed the above clearances for work or for another volunteer position, UPLL can accept copies of those clearances, as long as they were completed within the past 60 months. 

It is also a Little League International requirement to complete a National Criminal and Sex Offender background check. Little League has partnered JDP Background Screening and volunteers can complete this check both online and via paper form.
