What is Fall Ball?
Fall Ball will be held for approximately 6-8 weeks (weather permitting) beginning 9/13 and running through 10/25. November 1 may used as a make-up or additional day. • Midget Baseball Sessions are on Sunday’s from 12:00-2:00 PM. The focus of Fall Ball for Midgets is on skills and drills to prepare for play at the next level. The first hour will be devoted to small group skills instruction. The second hour will be for scrimmage and intersquad games. There is no travel involved and all play will occur at the UPLL complex.

Minor and Major Baseball teams play various District 27 teams so local travel is involved (ie Pottstown, Berwyn etc). Games are played on Sundays (one per week) and coaches may elect to schedule one weeknight optional practice per week. All Minor and Major players should be registered by 8/15 so that practices may begin in late August.

Junior baseball (ages 13 and 14) also competes against District 27 teams on Saturdays and/or Sundays. There may be an occasional weeknight practice which is not mandatory. A player does not need to be available for all games in order to participate.

Softball will be a combination of skills and drills, informal scrimmage games and fun competition amongst the participants themselves or with other local teams. There will be no set teams or travel involved for the younger ages. Major/Junior softball will alternate skills and drills sessions with D27 games which may involve some local travel. Sessions will be on Sundays from 1:00-3:00.

Due to the nature of the program, coach and friend requests are not accepted, no exceptions.

The snack bar will not be in operation during Fall Ball so players should be prepared with drinks etc.

Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed! If you can help out for some or all of the Fall Ball Sunday’s please check the volunteer box on the registration form. If you did not complete a volunteer form (consent for background check) in the spring, you will also need to complete this form.
